In a D.C. electric scooter accident, a rider who is partly at fault can still recover damages after colliding with a car, another scooter, a cyclist, or a pedestrian. D.C. Code § 50-2204.52 bars the claim only if the rider’s negligence was a proximate cause of the injury and greater than the total negligence of all the defendants.
